A Personal Mission
Our Story
"In February 2024, my life reached a turning point with a leukemia diagnosis. What followed was an incredibly difficult journey through chemotherapy, total body radiation, and a bone marrow transplant. During those months in the hospital, I saw firsthand how often patients lack the practical, emotional, and personal support that makes the hardest days bearable.
Out of that experience, I founded the Better Every Day Foundation. Today, as an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we provide meaningful encouragement, practical care, and human connection to cancer patients in the fight of their lives. What began as a personal mission is growing into a movement dedicated to making sure no one faces cancer alone."

What We’re Doing Right Now
Our current focus is providing care packages for newly diagnosed blood cancer patients — thoughtfully designed by someone who has personally experienced the arduous journey of treatment and recovery.
The Connect Card
Each package includes a Connect Card, giving patients direct access to speak with survivors, ask questions, or request prayer and encouragement.
Comfort Care Packages
- Oncology-safe ointments and lip care
- Lemon drops for 'chemo mouth'
- Fuzzy hospital socks for neuropathy
- Bibles and encouragement wristbands
Outreach & Celebration
We visit cancer units with student-led encouragement and celebrate one-year transplant anniversaries with 'Happy Re-Birthday' cards.
Why Your Support Matters
Until now, most of this work has been personally funded. Now that the Better Every Day Foundation is officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we’re ready to expand our reach and serve more patients. Your donation allows us to grow our impact directly.
- Deliver more care packages to patients beginning treatment
- Expand hospital outreach visits
- Grow our survivor support network
- Develop future programs for patients and families
